Overview

Professor JoAnn Kurtz, LLB, has produced a family law textbook designed specifically for college students. Family Law: Practice and Procedure, 3rd edition, presents students with an overview of the law of separation and divorce, including discussions on dissolution of marriage, spousal and child support, custody and access, common-law relationships, and definition of spouse, property rights, and financial disclosure. This edition also reflects the most recent changes to statutes, family law rules, and the Federal Child Support Guidelines. In response to instructors’ requests, the new edition appears as a bundled two-part set with the main text and the supplementary materials (statutes, regulations, and guidelines) printed as separate books. The text is supported by a full set of assessment tools that allow students to measure their progress.
