Rebecca Jaremko Bromwich has practised litigation in London and Ottawa, Ontario. She has an LLM, a graduate certificate in Women's Studies, an LLB and a BA (Hon.). She is a PhD student and part-time professor at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, where she teaches criminal law. She has taught at the University of Western Ontario's Faculty of Law as well as the University of Cincinnati.
