Overview

Get Skilled is a new web-based resource that prepares students of all learning levels for the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT). Developed by English teachers and tested and piloted in Ontario school boards, Get Skilled uses the most popular features of the web—avatars, online journals and forums, word of the day, and an online student dictionary — to engage students in a new way and prepare them for the test.

Get Skilled is created by Reading Ahead and distributed exclusively in Ontario by Emond Montgomery Publications.
