TopProvincial Approval
SWAP won the prestigious Gold Star award from the Ontario Library Association and as such is a “MUST BUY” for all Ontario secondary schools.
After a thorough committee review, the Department of Education in Nova Scotia authorized SWAP for use by students in all Social Studies classes, ALL DISCIPLINES, for grades 10 to 12.
It was also recommended for use in ALL ENGLISH classes grades 10 to 12. The recommended quantity in both cases was 16 copies for each classroom.
The Department also recommended that every Language Arts and Social Studies teacher form grades 7 to 9 in the province have a copy of this text. Over 30 years of publishing, we can't remember when a book has been so widely recommended for use in a province.
